Sunset on Liberty Bridge (Oil on Canvas 70cm x 100cm - September 2005)
Painted in Budapest, in fact first public painting which went better than I though, no major madmen interupting me. I sang to myself which seemed to work. Big credit goes to Steff who even though she was on holiday from the US carried this canvas 40 minutes each way in quite strong winds without getting a bridge print on her face. Her help was instrumental in getting this painted, cheers.
It may be interesting to note that the shadows and reflections aren't quite right since the sun only took 20 minutes to set behind Gellert Hill once it went past the right hand town. I left it that way as I thought it made it more real.
